The picture above shows the Victor 883 Motor Controllers from IFI Robotics mounted on the power distribution board. They control the speed of the two drive motors and the dome motor.
On the left is the logic board that controls R2's voice and special effects lighting. On the right you can see a top view through the chassis with the dome removed, revealing the dome rotation mechanism.
