Intermediate Range Radar, Scanning Laser Rangefinder,
Closed Loop Steering, Throttle, and Brake Controllers.
Compensated Digital Magnetic Compass

Design Philosophy: The Coyote Unmanned Ground Vehicle System was my entry in the first DARPA Grand Challenge.
I designed it around the idea that with limited sensing and computing power, it might go off course from time to time, so I spent a lot of time on a robust chassis design.
